Managed to get the old girl washed and polished ready to go, weather is annoying me to death but I have decided she is making the trip whatever happens.

Are you sure the fuel gauge is working, check with others on here but I am sure you can connect the 2 wires together to see if the gauge goes up, if it does then you have proven the gauge and the wiring works so it must be sender or the connections, if nothing happens when wires connected togetger t...

It is definitely loosening up a bit, tickover is nicer and also running cooler with janspeeds on, sounds great at about 2000 revs so pottering around in 2nd gear is great

As stevemadsays, brass nuts are best to stop them seizing, thats what I got from CCI

Definitely worth trying to clean up the bolts or if you have experience, change them and use new nuts, etc. I got mine from CCI. Gaskets between manifold and head a must or it will leak.

Just replaced my 2.8 exhaust for a janspeed so old system is available for a price of a couple tanks of, petrol. Manifolds, kidney boxes and exhausts, rear silencers are not identical.

The janspeeds are on and sound great. I know the whole system with the manifolds is a tad expensive but you cant fault the quality of the product and the way it fits together, all joints are a perfect match and connect together with the snuggest of fits, clamps of really good quality and the exhaust...

They arrived today, if my manifold gaskets come tomorrow as promised then all is set to get them on this weekend so will post good or bad news over the weekend, video of all of us in tandem will be great
