Re: Crooklock and such

Missed a "t" from the word can. Admittedly, most thefts are on a low loader and not having a wheel won't prevent that. It can be a bind when your our shopping so I just bought her a bigger shopping bag  or it goes in the bottom of the pram.

Re: Crooklock and such

Hi, Just to throw another option in the mix and will probably get shot down by the keep it original bunch, which I totally respect btw, but it's not for me. I run a smaller thicker aftermarket steering when'll which is connected by a quick release boss kit. This was quite cheap and aimed at the jap ...

Re: Running temps

Thanks for the advice. I don't know if the temp sensor was swapped across. I suspect low temps by feeling the rad, which is cool at the bottom and the fact that the heater won't blow hot. Would a faulty idle air sensor or valve cause it to run poor when attempting cold start running? It feels like a...

Running temps

Hi all, I have the 24v cosworth engine in mine and I'm having nothing but trouble with it :crying: It will not run cleanly while up to a reasonable temp. This takes 15 mins at least of farting about and kangerooing up the road. The needle then sits just below the first solid bar on the gauge. The he...

Wanted 3.75 cap

Hi,

I'm looking for a good 3.75 crown wheel and pinion shaft. Would consider complete diff. I don't want to pay eBay prices if possible. Could trade or part ex for parts if easier.

Cheers Neil.

Re: What to do now lads....

Happened to me a while back, all four snapped. Tried drilling them out but they had fused into one piece of rusty metal. I cut out the captive nuts, welded some new nuts onto some plate then welded these in. Nasty job though as it's double skinned down there. My theory on why they snap is that the m...

Re: Do you get wheel wobble on your Capri?

Hi, had wheel wobble when we bought this current one, changed tca and rod ends, wheel wobble moved from 40 to 50 ish up to 70 to 80ish. Had tracking rechecked and adjusted, this brought wobble back down to around 35 ish. Much better to drive now.

Injection tank

Hi,

I am trying to find a good injection tank for when I go efi, I am having no luck unfortunately. Has anyone used an injection tank from a different donor that was easy to fit? Is there an escort type motorsport tank or something along those lines that will fit easily?

Cheers.

Wanted, injection fuel tank

Title says it all really. I need a good usable fuel tank from a 2.8i please. Don't mind a bit of rust but it needs to be leak free.

Can do cash or swap for Capri parts etc

Cheers Neil.
