Re: Hot Car Capris
Funny as that is real 70s retro as a kid I would have loved a Capri like that now not sure . Great find Rob . Thought that Mk3 (3.0 turbo) was fantastic as a kid. Funny how times change, it was all about the visuals at the time, crazy paint & spoilers etc. That first Mk1 was running a 1.3!

Was thinking the same. Liked the Mk3, except for the interior ..Not_Anumber wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 11:46 am Thanks for digging these out. I wonder if any of these cars have survived.

Nice job John. Must be satisfying finding the source of that leak. Seat repair is excellent. I’ve used that dye on the gear knob & it looks brand new. Hoping to do the same to the steering wheel but too busy enjoying the sun at moment

Great picture Paul, it’s brilliant seeing things like this, vinyl roof looks great against the white too. Any more first Capri pictures out there? This could be the start of a big thread ..

Been watching Rust Valley Restorers on Netflix & Rust to Riches. Something different from the norm, first one better IMO, doesn’t take itself too seriously.
