What should I bring?

As a COC/DICC virgin what should I be bringing apart from the obvious tent gear, loo roll, chair type stuff.

Tracking

I'd get the tracking sorted, it's an easy fix and eliminates a potential problem. If the tracking is way out your wheels could be pointing in opposite directions which is not good and it will shag your tyres!

Juddery when loaded

<t>My 2.0 (1.6 axle) seems to judder off the line when it has any sort of wieght in it such as six bags sand and four concrete blocks. It's done this in the past and I thought it was the clutch which was prone to judder occasionally anyway but it now has a new clutch (the old one did have a dodgy sp...

It's not hte format

<t>I can't beleive that a load of guys that can strip Capris in their sleep really find it hard to use two web pages - loads of forums have multiple pages anyway. OK, it's not to everybody's liking but there was always complaints about the format in the past.<br/> At the end of the day the thing tha...

Re: Proper cars

<t>Well mine's certainly been used, not necessarily mileage wise but the stuff I've shifted in it and on it is amazing. Biggest thing was a flat packed 7ft x 5 ft shed that was forklifted on to the roof. It was only 1/2 mile down the road but the look on the fork lift driver's face when I brought th...

Is it fixed yet?

<t>Had something very similar on mine a year or two ago, particularly with the fountain effect in the carb - it was the float needle sticking in the down position meaning that fuel was flooding in every time it was turned over and the only way out was up! <br/> This might be a bit late but I've been...

Technically I'm still on holiday and having spent 10 hours driving home from Scotland today (or yesterday as it is now after 12) I can't see that I'll be doing too much at all!

Maybe the old memory still works then!

Easter 1978 at my grandparents and an ad comes on the tele for the new Capri - a coule of cars, headlights on, on a race track or somewhere similar - and I was hooked :)

Re: MK2 converted into MK3.. pics from CoCk..

I'll take your word Tom as you've seen the car and I haven't but that must be a late registered mk2 then as I thought 'S' reg was the change over year between 2 & 3.
