Hi Andrew , it's been 4 days but no one has been to view it yet but getting people offering to buy it from £500 up to £2200 but I just think £3000 is a fair price . Yes there was an advisory , the guy just said that it would have to be done at some point , but never seemed to concerns. What about that hole in the inner wing is that a big job to ?? I always thought my capri was pretty clean just goes to show how quickly they can go downhill.

Yes brilliant tip there !! It's amazing how sometimes our old cars still manage to baffle us from time to time we tend to overcomplicate things sometimes.

My springs do the same when I turn the steering they also move and they also make a clunking noise . Good shout about the roller strut top bearings being to harsh I had never thought of that , so I will be getting mine from Burton.

Cutting out is always going to be the best bet but if grinding back treat the metal with a rust converter (Jenolite or something similar) even if the metal looks clean.
