Hey Martin,
How much you looking for the ford badges?
And would you be willing to through it into a bubble wrap envelope and sending it to Ireland?
Thanks,
Fox (Jack)

Re: Twin Weber 40's and Kent FR30 in a 1.6...
The twin 40s would just bog down and only come into their own higher up rev range. Just overkill. They would be ok on a tuned 2 litre used for hard fast work. Cheers Will, I've changed the plan quite abit as below... Right I think this is what I'll end up doing... I'll pick up a 2.0 cam and drop th...

Re: Twin Weber 40's and Kent FR30 in a 1.6...
I don't understand the question? It's ok 3 Litre... A 205 is a stock 2.0 but it is the later 2.0 Haha that's what I wanted to know, see I'm learning... Do the pistons go flush to the top on the high compression blocks? Skim 20 thou of the 2.0 litre head before you fit it - you'll be amazed a...

Re: Twin Weber 40's and Kent FR30 in a 1.6...
:welcome: , i would go for a 2.0 cam , ported head, 4-2-1 exhaust , 32/36 2.0 carb , electronic ignition Right I think this is what I'll end up doing... I'll pick up a 2.0 cam and drop that in then I'll hunt around for a 2.0 or a high compression 205 block (if you think that is advised) then once I...

Re: Twin Weber 40's and Kent FR30 in a 1.6...
I see and how can I check that? I really do what to tune and modify my Capri but I've been advised that the 1.6 isn't worth it since I really want to install a Kent cam...

Re: Cleaning Over-spray from Interior
Hmm I had over spray on some of the plastics and I just used Mer interior cleaner and a 1" paint brush and scrubbed it, it brought it up like new... If it doesn't work try the cleaner and a bit of clay bar, when I clayed my car body I noticed it pulled off all the overspray that was sitting on ...

Re: Twin Weber 40's and Kent FR30 in a 1.6...
Screw it Matt and I have just gotten off the phone to each other and we might be picking up 2.0's on Saturday week and then the fun begins... I'll leave the 2.0 on an engine mount and work on it while I have the 1.6 in the car and once the 2.0 is done its down to the rolling road to make numbers... ...

Re: Twin Weber 40's and Kent FR30 in a 1.6...
Cheers guys for all the information... The reason for the twin 40's is because im getting them for the price of one new 32/36... I've heard about the problems with the cams but I thought it was ok to use them in a 1.6 once I get the kit that comes with new followers? I may be wrong since this is all...

So let me start of with saying hey this is my first post so be gentle :spank: Right so abit of background, I'm running a fully stock 1.6 pinto that I'm planning on tuning up for low end more so then screaming down the motor way at 180km... I want to put twin Weber 40DCOE's, Kent FR30 cam and a 4-2-1...
