hi mate and welcome, im jamie, currently got a 85 2.8 special; running carb,d.
im based in a village called gorebridge, just outside edinburgh up here in land of sweaty socks..

but beware of putting lacquer on, if the paintwork is patchy, not evenly sprayed ect, as the lacquer will magnify this.
but dont try cutting bare paint, you can only flat and polish the finished lacquer(once its had 72 hours to harden)

its an rs spoiler mate, it was on car when i bought it, still not decided if its staying or not..

just rebuilt my 2.8, i put a load of things in washing machine, namely my viscous fan, just wrap them in overalls or something, and hey presto, like new.. plus youre other hafls no idea what youre up too.

yes nat, its nimbus grey over strato silver, although the chin spoiler is painted grey too.

hi guys, got a 85 2.8 special, got a 2.8 engine from mk2 granada, running it with dgas. it idles perfect, and pulls realy smooth, but when you want to give her a high gear and lowish speed, it pops and bangs.carbs been overhauled, so in my mind its timing, its set 12 degrees before tdc,as per haynes...

hi, fairly straight forward job, your old ones should just pull out, theyre kind pressed into a little groove, may be rusty, just soak with wd40/duck oil, then wind window down and give them a good pull.. :oops: the trim i mean..lol. burton or east kent trim suupplies, but i got mine from capri club...

epic repairs there beak, sterling job as always..perfect.cant wait to see more pics.
