Re: Car wont start after running out of fuel?
check the fuel lines that run under the car especially under the passenger door. They run through the chassis strengthener and can easily get crushed if jacked up at that point.

Ford 302 for a nice perana style conversion . Rover standard v8 not huge power. Also BMW and jag. Engine mounts available for some on eBay. Caprisport do some. Gear box brakes axles all need to be considered.

Is there any difference between OHC and 2.8i radiators?
Does anyone recondition them?

Re: fuel relay 2.8
Yes bullet join is on mine. I think the red and black is from the coil. Connects to relay with live to fuel pump. Clean the bullet up and replace the short piece of wire to the relay.

Sorted it. Crushed fuel pipe and not a good live to the fuel pump relay. Check the fuel pipe under the passenger door, it can get crushes where it goes through the chassis

Metering Head
Do i need a gas analyzer to sort the metering head out or can it be done another way. Took the plugs (brand new) out and they are black, sooty black, running rich i assume.
is there a way of finding a start point on the head?
Thanks
