Re: cyclist
The thing is.. You don't really notice the good cyclists. That's a very good point that is. As with everything, it's the bad that sticks out the most. I do think that a lot of those with a hatred for cyclists would have a different opinion if they spent half a day on a bike out there. Being on our ...

Re: Photobucket?
I don't have a lot of experience with Flickr, so would have to look into it further to properly advise. However, on that link you posted if you click on that link (which takes you to the webpage), and then right click and choose to 'view page info'. Scroll down to where it says og:image, and that's ...

Re: Capri Club Pedal Cover
It must cost a fortune to get the club's own tooling set up for a production run of these. I've thought the same actually, in general, with reproducing parts. As you rightly say, tooling costs are the killer. And the retail cost to us, though not cheap, is not excessive either. Testament to the fac...

Re: Photobucket?
I think I can see the issue possibly, that link you posted is for the web page, as opposed to the actual image. The actual image is this - http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7281/15853686753_a136c161b7_z.jpg And when used does display the pic, as below. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7281/15853686753_a136...

Re: Capri Club Pedal Cover
Exactly, especially as the originals are so brittle now. They have had them available for some time. I don't think that any of the fixing holes are in place.peers.dupp wrote: Good on the club for reproducing these fragile items though!

Re: Photobucket?
There could be several reasons as there are many variables. But, have you tried using the URL option as opposed to the IMG one. Also, it may make a difference if your pic is private or public.peers.dupp wrote:HI,

Really? All of them round your neck of the woods are as bad? No wonder you have this dislike of them. Personally I believe that there are good and bad, just like car drivers really.

Capri Club Pedal Cover
Does anyone know why the CCI pedal covers do not come with the holes pre-drilled? I know it's easy enough to do, although maybe not so easy to get them in the correct place. Does the hole position vary as regards to model perhaps? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-MK3-capri-pedal-cover-under-dash-fibreg...

Goodness me! Obviously you can only go off personal experience, but not all cyclists are as like minded.peers.dupp wrote: As far as I can tell, he's a typical cyclist with no regard for the laws of the road or for his and other peoples' safety.

Re: Historic Rally On TV
There was more historic rallying on Motors TV last night, it was the Roger Albert Clark rally. Great to see these old cars going at it and they sure can motor! Always seems to be on so late though, this was 2.00am. Worth 'taping' though.

Re: Heater decal
Just getting a copy made for personal use is entirely different to making them for sale I`d have thought? Yes most likely. I doubt very much that any of those selling them would have been bothered by that though? By the way, with the altered one above I was trying to demonstrate that you can create...

Re: Heater decal
Just to show how easy it can be I have altered the arrow depth on the decal below, more in keeping with the correct one which Steve posted. Took a couple of minutes that's all, and that's on a photo, even easier on an actual graphics file - http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b1/pbar/Capri%20Heater%20...

No one will bother about it, may not even be any copyright attached, anyone who wants to copy it and make a few stickers, will just do so.
