Quote for wing replacememnt

I got a quote through this morning for getting the wing replaced on my capri, the quote includes a new wing (pattern, for 73) and painting etc, and it comes to 660. is it me of is this utter bs?

<r>took my capri in for mot today, failed on "excessive corrosion" ie a big gaping hole in the wing (ok maybe a slight exageration lol, but not much <E>;)</E>) and exhaust. <E>:(</E> dunno whether to fix it or sell it. could i get away with using filler on the hole? i cant afford to get it done prop...

not capri related, but anyway: does anyone have a rough idea it would cost to have a sill replaced on a mk2 fiesta? im asking for my bro, he needs to get them done for the mot, but is on a budget. any guesses?

next tuesday probably. im dreading it :( im short of cash at the mo, so if it fails.... i know i need to replace a reversing light bulb, and the carb needs servicing, and maybe the exhaust as well (stupid car, costing me lots of money)

yeah, i got it on dvd, first time i watched it i thought hmm this sounds a bit odd, then i realised it was american dubbed i was so p***ed off i was gonna return it, till i found u can change the dialogue back to the oz one, although they both just say "english"

see if the older technician would be willing to voice his opinions publicly or whatever. also speak to citizens advice bureau maybe. collect as much evidence as u can, and maybe speak to the police about it. some if not all of that has to be illegal

<r>well, twice actually, 1st time they were checking the car all over, asking questions, where id been where i was going where i lived etc, but after talking for a couple of minutes he was quite friendly although he did ask me why i had a capri <E>:)</E> the 2nd time i was just a bit over the limit ...
