Re: Is it time to loose Lewis Collins from the top of the pa

Good shout, id vote for it being time to remove it and get some screen real estate back. It was a nice thing to do, but time to move on me thinks.

Re: Whats this then?

Ha Haaaa... though you ain't going to be hearing anything much over the sound of the bloody exhausts! As for the brown bit, hmm I guess I somehow managed to subconsciously "not notice" it at the time! Thanks for calling it out, ill take a closer look at the weekend. Seems telling myself th...

Whats this then?

Hi all I has the back seat bench out to fit a new seatbelt and found this under the bench. I'm guessing its probably some old stereo cable someone has left there but would appreciate your thoughts. http://s742.photobucket.com/user/coyb18781/media/IMG_0164_zps30df8eab.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 http://s...

Re: my baby

Nice one 80's.

You've got the MK II front grille like mine, I do much prefer them I have to say.

Looks a nice car, and you'll enjoy getting her up to scratch bit by bit I'm sure.

wobbly seat backs

The recaros in my 2.8 have quite wobbly seat backs. I mean you can move them forward and back a cm or two. Wondering if there is an easy way to tighten them up, or is it something worn that needs replacing? I admit I haven't even looked yet, but would prefer some guidance before I get stuck in. Than...

Hi martin, would the interior light and the one in the boot be in good condition with the tabs unbroken?
And the cigar lighter in working condition?
Thanks Glenn

Re: Peers.dupp's 2.8 injection (Updated 23/03/14)

Smashing car Andrew, a real credit to you

What have you on the inner wing under the injector leads.. some sort of matting? Would something similar have been there originally? I'm interested because mine have dulled off the paint work there, thinking of doing the same.

Cheers Glenn

Re: ball joint splitter advice

I'll buy the ball joint splitter as advised above I think, any excuse for a new bit of kit :applaud: But thanks for the alternatives. Slightly off topic... I don't think I'm sold on Polly bushes, quite happy to keep things as original as possible. But out of interest, if one does go the Polly bush r...

ball joint splitter advice

Hi all I'm building myself up to have a go at changing my TCAs. I'm going to need a ball joint splitter apparently. What kind should I get.. tuning fork type, scissor type with threaded bolt...? On this eBay page I see quite a few different types/shapes/sizes so would appreciate your advice. http://...

Re: steering issues

Mine does the same actually, as you describe, but especially when reversing. Would love to sort that out since it doesn't feel nice at all.
