I take mine to Mikes Autos on sand wash ind est in rainford, a massive pain in the arse getting there and back but he's the guy I always go to.

Tbh these last 8-10 weeks I've had newt but hell, first the axle packed up, then I've had these starting issues, and me zorst manifold is cracked again, where it joins the back section... Easily fixed by my mate...

One of a couple of minor bits I've gotta sort once my new axle is on is the door glass rubber, it's blowing in as the top corner of the drivers door window seal is perished, firstly how easy are they to do, and secondly, do I get the ones from classiccar-trim.com?

I really need a place where I can take the whole car, and let them deal with it... Short odds I realise but I can't get the axle off, well i can but then I can't move the car and it needs to be able to be shifted in and out of my garage... Is a proper ball ache

Luckily (in terms if cost) mines an early 2.8 non special so no LSD... But thanks for the info will get on the blower to them both tomora an get some quotes

Just had word my diff is shot, not got specifics yet as I've not spoke in detail to my mechanic, but does anyone know a place in or around Merseyside that will rebuild my axle and diff?

Wouldn't be the exhaust as its all new, custom built stainless, I jacked it up last nite via he diff and could feel vibrations thru the jack, also a kind of clicking noise from the prop/diff area, definitely something amiss as it was terrible this morning, the noise from the prop which when turned b...

I can't attribute the noise to anything specific like braking, cornering etc, it does it when going in a straight line, when under load and when not under load... Sounds like some one has jammed a tin can in the spokes of a bicycle at times
