Ive seen the bmw e34 headlapms on the capri
Is this swap beneficial? and what do you have to do , and changing of connections fittings etc?

Well, you want to use engine lacquer, which you can get at most motor centres.
i dont think theres a great deal of difference in quality brand wise though. its about £5 for a small pot, and you wont use much of it atall.

if your replacing with a 1.6laser you can keep the gearbox, keep the axle, infact the 1.6axle (in my opinion) is better on a 2.0, gives you quicker acceleration, but less top speed. then you need to change the clutch to a 2.0 clutch and get a twin choke weber 32/36 carb. But if you bought a 2.0pinto...

as above. performance exhaust manifold to fit a mk3 capri. Its going to go onto a standard exhaust system for the meantime, so it must fit onto that, or be easily adapted.

I have a 1.6laser.
Ive nearly finished a full rebuild of a 2.0pinto which is going into it.
Ive heard that having the 2.0 litre engine but remaining with the 1.6gearbox and axle is a good thing.
whys that?
and also are there any other benefits/cons i will get from this.

I removed the clock unit (as in with the speedo, revs, fuel gage etc) in my capri today and when doing it, one of the blue plastic 'bulb casing' things broke dont know what they are called, just can explain that they are like opaque blue bulb covers behind the clocks themselves. the question is what...
