Good point Steve. I've just had a quick look to see if the more expensive ones are in fact handed then, can't see any indication that they are.

There has been a couple of minor updates to the thread on CP about these. Price mentioned of around £130. Not that bad is it.

It's a shame those ebay ones didn't fit too well. Wonder if the (albeit more expensive) ones would have fitted better. I rarely buy any new parts off ebay, rather use the proper Capri people.

Yes, it's fine. Use Castrol GTX 10/40 Semi. Just changed mine incidentally, and used that.

Fantastic video about the valve clearances. A couple of additional points worth mentioning: 1) You can't adjust one of the cylinders' valve clearances when the engine's still in the car, because the carb is in the way. FYI the fill plugs on the diff and gearbox use a weird key - one's square, the other's triangular or hex or something... I can't remember which way round either, but one is square and one is hex. I bought the 'keys' from my local car shop. However, for the square one you can just use a 3/8" so...
