Re: Window winder handles
Actually it's a good question, if they took photos with open or close windows... Here are pictures from brochures and articles from 80's and most of them is in the 7 o'clock position on right door (or 5 o'clock on left door). On my car it's same, but I can't guarantee that anybody put it off and bac...

Re: Window winder handles
Hi,
I went through all my Capri brochures on PC and on 90% of interior shots handles are in the 7 o'clock position, like it was said here before.

Re: Tailgate Struts
Yes, mine gave strange readings on a multimeter also, and Clive at Tickover mentioned this too. Not sure why but for some reason they do seem to create a multimeter anomaly. However, using some makeshift wiring and a bulb/battery as a test, the bulb does light every time, no matter what the multime...

Re: Tailgate Struts
Hi, struts were delivered last week. ;) I measured conductivity and it was strange. I can't push it in by hand of course, but it also depends on how I push piston to side. Some position excellent conductivity, some zero. Same when I add it on car, dramatical changes during opening and closing tailga...

Hi,
few years ago I changed viscous coupling too, but I think it wasn't from CCI. Holes were also M8, so I made M10 from them, because I wanted to use original screws.

Re: Auto box changing up too soon
Hi, I don't have automatic gearbox, so just guessing. It looks to me that gearbox "don't know" about position of throttle pedal. There should be some cable or linkage from throttle lever on carburetor to gearbox, right? Isn't this broken or badly set or anything? But it's probably long sho...

Re: electric telescopic aerial connection
Hi,
I have there "flat type" connector, about 3mm wide (i think), male on radio, female on wire to aerial. Something like on pictures.
But I also find picture where some circular conector is instead of flat type. But I don't know what's that, just find picture...

Re: electric telescopic aerial connection
So PIN for automatic aerial should be next to "+" PIN.
On picture there is Blaupunkt Coburg Stereo, but it is same radio as RST21P.

Re: gear stick gaiter fitting
Hi,
I'm not sure, but I think that gaiter isn't secured on gear stick anyhow. I think it only lays on that gear stick collar. But I've never dismantled it yet.
Picture isn't very good, sorry.

Re: electric telescopic aerial connection
Hi,
some photo will be helpful. Which radio do you have? ESRT32 PS?
There should be pin at the back, on which is 12V only when radio is on. Originaly it was white wire, which goes from this pin to automatic aerial.
