Re: 15 inch wheels
Hi.
What size rims and tyres are you running on the rear.
Probably going to run 195's on the front and 225's on the rear if I can make it work.

Re: 15 inch wheels
That is a very fair point.
I have no idea on the wheels but I know I will be limited on the offset available for RWD capri's.
Then it will be a case of a wheel that I like that suits the car.
Thanks

Re: LSD
Hi. Just remember with anything shipped in from the US you will have to pay import tax on the value. Not sure what % it will be but it can very quickly shoot the price of the parts up. Also reading the description it says it will work with the MK1,2,3 lotus cortina. I know the MK1 used an English ax...

Re: 15 inch wheels
For the moment the body is staying standard. At some point in the future it will be getting the RS Xpack kit fitted but with saving for a house deposit and paying for a wedding is leaving funds tight for the foreseeable future. I need the wheels to fit under standard arches for the moment. were the ...

Machine shops in Reading
Hi all. As stated I am looking for a machine shop in or around Reading to undertake a little work for me. I need to get my new rear hubs and disks turned down slightly so they will mate together for my rear disc conversion. I also need some inserts made for my callipers as the bolts I will be using ...

Re: 15 inch wheels
Currently have 13 inch 7j on the back and 13 inch 6j on the front.
Ideally would like a little wider than 195 on the back. Probably be the tyre of choice on the front.
Thanks

15 inch wheels
Hi all. I am thinking of upgrading, when funds allow, to 15 inch wheels on the capri. This is because there is so much bigger choice of tyres now than the 13's, the bigger contact patch to handle the power and just time for a change. What size wheels and rubber will I get away with under standard fr...

caprisport 260mm brakes
Hi, Does anyone have any pictures of the caprisport 260mm kit fitted to their capri struts? Looking for how the brackets fit to the car and how the calliper fit to the brackets as a little stumped atm. It just seems that the bracket holes for the strut are too small and threaded and the holes for th...

Re: Brake pads
Hi,
I have had mintex pads on both my tuned 2.1S and my old granada.
The mintex grip well, even in the bedding in phase, and the amount of dust is on the lower side.
Will be using them again in all my applications

Really glad you had such a good experience with them.
Maybe a List of all the approved Traders and a List with the ones to be wary of would be a great Idea for members to have as a reference.

BOB Cosworth Service Parts
Hi all. I am looking about getting my BOB Cosworth ready and waiting for transplant into the capri. I am planning to run the EDIS 6 setup initially on the engine before upgrading at a later date. Can I use the HT Leads from a later mondeo V6 on the cosworth or will the leads be different. Finding it...
Diff oil
Hi.
I have just had my axle rebuilt and need to order some millers gear oil for the axle.
How much oil does an atlas hold from empty to where it is just coming out the plug?
Thanks
