Hi I can help you with the bung in the wheel arch / seal, it’s metal and held in with a mastic seem sealer and it’s the same size as the floor bungs, Tickover stock these.

Nick, sorry you couldn’t make it today, I had the car on ramps for your inspection! weather wasn’t the best and I think it stopped a few people attending. There were still plenty of very nice cars there. Be good to see John’s photos

Re: High temperature paint
Jason / Andrew in my view it’s the best coating you can get but it’s not cheap for my cast lump of iron I think it was about £300 they used to list prices on their web site, anyway I had mind done in silver to off set the black. I will post a photo later as not near a pc at the moment and I can’t an...

I have found the after market TCA’s to have very poor quality bushes, swap them out for polyurethane and it may well solve the problem, it did for me and my TCA’s were new

Re: Wanted! S/S exhaust! Possible janspeed!
am looking to keep the car until I drop dead so seems to make sense to invest in one but I am just a tad surprised the mildly insane cost of a manifold  I totally agree it’s a lot of money you could always do it in stages, manifold the main ect , these people may also be worth. try http://flow...

Re: Wanted! S/S exhaust! Possible janspeed!

Most company's buy in the boxes and bend there own pipe and with my old one it w...

Take a close look at the 2.0L S, i didn't know that as new meant with rusty lower rear quarter, or is it just a bad picture, me thinks not, its a shame ads are misleading

Re: Kent all Ford show Aylesford Sunday 22nd April
Nick, thanks for that looks like I put the mockers on that! To be honest I find this a real surprise considering this announcement was made 11 days before the event and even more so when you see the weather forecast for the next ten days, not a drop of rain and warm. The field must be in a real stat...

Kent all Ford show Aylesford Sunday 22nd April
Hopefully this will be a good show, it was last year and the forecast looks good for the whole week.
Just for you Nick if the weather is as good as forecasted I will have the car off the ground to save your back and knees!

Re: Rust location. Panel needed but no idea of the name
Hi I expect you will find the corrission greater in the inside of the inner wing as moisture gets between the external reinforcement plate and rusts through. Any good fabrication shop should be able to cut out and make a bespoke repair section. There are also sleeves that sit internally to the chassi...
