Guys the valance is genuine ford, as far as I know there have never been a pattern replacement made

Mk3 genuine front valance
If any one is after one I have an NOS mk3 front valance, i never needed it for my restoration so is now spare, it's just been etch primer for protection

Guys after a genuine mk3 front indicator must have both fixing lugs in tack and uncracked if anyone has one they want to part with

Thanks Andrew, yes your right about your foot down, you need to wind these standard pintos up, get that second choke open , like being a teenager again, I will check the post in the gallery

Thanks Rob, looking back now it all seems worth it but at times during the rebuild I did ask myself what have I started, now all I want to do is drive the thing, as I have had the car so long it's like going back in time.

Thanks Steve, that is pretty much the same and it does show the seal I was questioning clearing pointing outwards, so that convinces me mine is in correct. The bore on mine looks fine but that rear seal is clearly worn as its lost its lip a bit and that would answer why the brake fluid has striped t...

Yep I took photos but I am questioning the back seal as that's where it was letting by, as you say stick it back as was

Andrew now we have found a picture, it's actually the one on row ten, it's the back seal, unless I am convincing myself it looks like it's wider end is inwards?

Thanks Steve, that is a good picture but Sod's law mine is different, that picture shows 6 seals and mine only has 4, my piston is released by a pin in the reservoir entry

Andrew thanks for your reply and yes I do mean the switched feed to the fog light switch is dead when the head lights are on or off, I assume from your comment that this feed is picked up from the headlight stork switch
