Re: electric telescopic aerial connection

Hi,
I have there "flat type" connector, about 3mm wide (i think), male on radio, female on wire to aerial. Something like on pictures.

But I also find picture where some circular conector is instead of flat type. But I don't know what's that, just find picture...

Re: electric telescopic aerial connection

So PIN for automatic aerial should be next to "+" PIN.

On picture there is Blaupunkt Coburg Stereo, but it is same radio as RST21P.

Re: gear stick gaiter fitting

Hi,
I'm not sure, but I think that gaiter isn't secured on gear stick anyhow. I think it only lays on that gear stick collar. But I've never dismantled it yet.
Picture isn't very good, sorry.

Re: electric telescopic aerial connection

Hi,
some photo will be helpful. Which radio do you have? ESRT32 PS?

There should be pin at the back, on which is 12V only when radio is on. Originaly it was white wire, which goes from this pin to automatic aerial.

Re: Tailgate Struts

Well my replacements arrived today (I have to say, Tickover have been brilliant about this), and I've put them on the car and they work perfectly. Very smooth and quiet when lifting the tailgate and properly working wiper and demister. I would recommend them. They are slightly longer than the origi...

Using a Neo model as a base is quite extravagant, they're very expensive!

Thanks, Andrew. ;)

Yes, price was higher, but it was the only option for Mk2 X-Pack.

Re: 1/43 project SOO 636R

Thanks! ;) I've also read in the past that it's scrapped, but last month (when I tried to find more photos of this car to make 1/43 model) I found some discussion on FB or Twitter or somewhere from 2016 and anybody wrote there that he had this car in garage for 30 years and now (in 2016) it is under...

1/43 project SOO 636R

Hi, nothing too much interesting, but I post it here. I wanted 1/43 model of Doyle's Capri Mk2 X-Pack (SOO 636R), but I didn't find it anywhere. Don't know if model of this Capri was ever offered. So I bought 1/43 Mk2 X-Pack model with strange color combination and turn it into SOO 636R. See photos....

Hi, here they have complete exhaust for 2.8i, but it is from Germany. For 3.0 they have different lenght of centre sections (don't know if it is right), but it is out of stock. https://www.motomobil.com/en/products?katalog_name=CAPRI&katalog_seite=61&katalog_seite_id=2 https://www.motomobil....
