has anyone come across a weber carb on a 2litre that makes some sort of screetching noise?? mine is and its driving me crazy!! any ideas,ps i have already ruled out the alt because i tried it with the belt disconnected

yeah it is on most cars where the heat sensor is mounted on the engine block rather than the rad or manifold,i`m not to sure where it is in the 280 ,most of the old fords use a copper head sensor and it acts like a heat sink if theres nothing to cool it

yeah but what if the disks are rusty because theres no brake pressure on one side? that said it would have failed on the stopping power??? the week till its fixed means no re-test fee.
