No way you could do this one on the cheap Andy just depends what parts/panels the buyer has hidden away.... If you were starting from scratch .... Get ready.. £££££ Lolandyd wrote: I hope whoever has, knows what they may have let themselves in for, as it's not a car you should restore on the cheap IMO.

Re: Which colour leather/dye?
I used this company, they had a database of all the different manufacturers and shades, (IIRC it was Ford light grey?) - but they`ll even make up from a sample. It was certainly a perfect match, although I applied it with an air-brush to the steering wheel as I couldn`t get it on evenly with the sp...

Re: Brooklands for sale at £30, 000
I was speaking to a guy who bought a 280 very recently, it hadn't been advertised but the car had been renovated to a high level. He paid 26.5k and said he was happy to do so for an end of line low numbers car, he hadn't owned one previously but thought it was an ok drive, It's now locked away with ...

Hi Des, Looking forward to seeing some photos. :D It'll be interesting to see how your plans have changed. You're not fitting a stonking great V8 in there are you? Andrew. As you say, it would be interesting to see what it sells for. Judging by the photos and the description, it appears to be ready to go and needs nothing doing to it.
Andrew.
It certainly does read very well and it would seem plenty of people who want one, so it should do well..

Another 280 on the bay...
Interesting to see where this ends up price wise if it all checks out. Personally I'd sell it via an auction house but hey ho..

Over a month now.........Any leads on finding it??? This has got to be one of the most circulated Capri thefts ever Andy and with 5k for any info on top I'd have thought something would be forthcoming by now... Got to feel gutted for the owner but feel sure he won't give up the search anytime soon,...

Hopefully its a decent show. Does look good from what I seen. was wondering what they looked like Hi, I doubt that they all look like the one in the thread. It looks a bit low-tech and unnecessarily cumbersome to me. We'll all have to be like those people at the car shows who spend the entire event sat by their own cars. Andrew. Hi Andrew I agree this home ma...
