The Ford Capri Laser Page

Just went to top up the coolant in the car as I notice it seems to disappear rather quickly.

I noticed that as I was filling the rad up a brown sludge which I can only assume to be oil and water was escaping from around the dipstick. I know this is bad, but just how bad?

I have a plastic inline filter but has started showing less fuel in it than there should be. I have just cleaned the plugs (bit oily) and regapped them just to be sure, will try it again after the weekend probably.

My Capri has been mainly off road for the best part of 2 years now, with family and financial issues it got overlooked and for a spell I wanted nothing to do with it. When the time came to get it back on the road it went on a low loader to my old neighbour who is a competent mechanic to get her goin...

Same here, seems to be ok now, for me at least.

Been thinking about getting mine wrapped for a while now. Not going to happen anytime soon as money is tight and paint is fine but I would love to get a Tie Dye wrap

I've used parcel2 go before and they seemed ok.

Have used Shiply a few times now and I have had no problems at all. £30 for a gearbox from Surrey to North West, my only advice is to wait a few days for the bids to come in as they seem to drop to about half the original quote.

Thermostat housing still needed

In need of a thermostat housing if there is one.

Finally get round to looking at my car and the Thermostat housing is cracked. Anybody got a cheap one going? for 2.0

To be honest if the Capri was involved in a crash the kids wouldn't be the first thing on my mind. Lol

just looking for a rough guess to give me an idea. Money is extremely tight attm and I just can't (as bad as it sounds) justify keeping her.
