Re: Heritage " Ford Capri Mk1 Facelift 3000GT Resto/Mod

This one has now a New better 2.8 engine with forged internals. Made littile bit less torque but made almost +100 bhb. New stuff in winter. Bigger fuel lines since 6mm copper lines had some problems, Now AN-8 fuel lines, thats should be enough with E85 and one AEM 400lph and one bosch 044. Internal ...

Re: Turbo technics spec

Hi folks. Does anyone know the turbo spec used on the TT single kit (2.8)? I would like to know the turbine A/R and Compressor A/R. I did email TT but didn't get a reply....... All I seem to get able to find is that it was a T3..... Alternatively, if anyone has fitted a T3T4 hybrid, what A/R worked...

Re: Exhaust recommendations

In my experience, Powerflow items themselves actually restrict power! When you think how much time and money goes into designing an exhaust system for a specific car, how good are custom made systems and do they really work that well :? Stock exhaust manifolds and 2x 2.5" marine grade stainess...

Re: Use Allen Heads

You could use Allen head (socket hex head) bolts. They need to be 10mm x1.0 pitch. They aren't easy to find but I found them somewhere as I have four in my desk drawer. I'll try to find out where they came from here in the States. I presume you are in the States? Don Remember to use extra high tens...

Re: 2.8 Camshafts and timing gear

V6T21 Is one of the best cams there is available if you want power and torque. Valve duration is perfect there is no overlap in that cam type. I am making over 600nm torque at 4900rpm and fuel economy is pretty good at 1800 to 2200rpm area. It is drive-able at 1600+rpm. Idle at 900 to 1000rpm. Avera...

Re: Oil change

I would suggest to use Mobil Peaklife (rallyformula) 5W-50 It has lots of ZDDP and its fully synthetic. Its good for camshaft and rockers, especially for older engine and to car that doesnt' have catalytist converters. ZDDP reduces alot catalytist converters lifetime. Thats why the won't use ZDDP a...

Atlas Axle for dummies

Hello! Whats the main difference with standard Atlas axle and semi-floating atlas axle? Is there easy way to transform std atlas axle to semi-floating? I could image 16 spline to 18spline semi-floating is tiny bit stronger. How about burton or ebay kits? Are they trash or? Is there new good rear axl...

Where to get good fuel pressure gauge?

I would like to know if there is fuel pressure gauge that is liquid filled and has only bar measurement
and area of 0 to 7.5 or 10 bar. Preferably with 1/8" npt connection. No electric gauges.

I have been looking one for quite a long time. If someone know where to ask thats good too.

Re: Burton power Steel cologne camgear.

Hi mate, I had a 2.8 injection a few year's back, did a few mods to it new Kent camshaft etc and I was looking for steel cam gear and I swear I remember being told about a bad batch of timing gears that Burton's had been supplied for the Cologne V6, I think the gears were somehow machined incorrect...
