That looks like an earlier non viscous fan Nick. I see your car's an '84 but it could easily have been retro fitted (unless the entire engine has been changed?). Burton used to sell the appropriate pump etc. not sure if they still do. Otherwise you could convert the whole thing to a viscous couplin...

NO!!!!! that plugs been corroding nicely in there for 30+ years. Remove it and you can damage the block beyond repair.
