Re: Worst customer service I have ever had
I have just looked at my order. Having placed it on the 2nd of April I was shocked to see an estimated delivery time between the 12th and the 18th. Thats a full 8 - 13 days after the order was placed, to come from Didcot to Reading. I should have collected them. I would understand if none in stock b...

Re: 3.0 steering rack wanted
Good power racks are thin on the ground now.
I got my last one from Martin at Caprigear.
Was a solid piece of kit and in perfect working order.
He is the best bet for one if he has any.

Such a shame.
I will be avoiding him from now on but don't forsee any need of him now.
Will tell people to avoid him like the plague.

Re: BOB Cosworth oil
Thanks.
Thats brill.
Will probably go for the 5W40 millers oil.
Only going to be a summer toy and not huge miles so will go for the millers as I have previous use with their oils and was very happy with them.

Worst customer service I have ever had
Hi all, I have been dealing with a well known capri parts supplier and I have to say I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I work in customer service and if I acted like this gentleman then I am sure I would be sacked. First of all this is all on his EBAY shop. I looked at some par...

BOB Cosworth oil
Hi all, I am planning to fit the BOB to my capri and I am not sure what engine oil I should run in it. I am after the ideal grade for summer time use. Going to be using millers oil in the engine, fully synthetic, as my pinto loved the stuff. also will be doing a full engine service on it and binning...

caprisport 260mm brakes
Hi all, I am currently upgrading the brakes on my capri and I am after some dimensions for brackets. I am looking at getting the caprisport 260mm brackets to fit some callipers to the car. My question is what are the dimensions of the brackets and what is the spacing between the hole centres for bot...
Re: brakes
Hi Knez,
I just trial fitted the callipers and they have a slightly different spacing between the holes.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Having a Big Clear Out
To be honest Andrew,
If I remember correctly I used them with the speaker grills over the top of the speakers but I cannot be sure now.
Thanks

Wanted 1.6 Brake Servo
Hi,
As title I am after a 1.6 brake servo that is in good working order.
I don't mind if it needs cleaning up and painting but must be in good working order.
Closer to Reading the better but will pay for the item to be posted.
Thanks

Re: brakes
Hi Knez I ended up purchasing a set of vented callipers from a late 200 series volvo so they should be here soon. once trial fitted and refurbished they will go on the front. Found my rear callipers from the old scorpio Cosworth so I will get some brackets for them and some discs and mock it all up ...

Hi,
Yeah she is fine. I will make sure that I get it back if they write the car off and will stick it in the cossy.

Dash cameras
Hi all, I just thought I would post up about dash cams. They have been around for a while now and I was always a bit cynical of them as they can be used to incriminate as well. Well my other half and I both got them for our cars and I have to say I am fully converted. Saved me 10% on my insurance an...

Re: Burton power sump plug
Hi Nick, Used one on the other halfs focus. Had a good strong magnet on it and felt really solid and good quality, better than the ford original. No results yet on the condition of the plug after being run as the oil isn't due for a change yet and might not be as the car is a poss write off after so...

It keeps things clear and prevents them blocking up when you most need them.
Took 5 mins to do and I could not believe the amount of gunk after just a week of use.
