Re: Please Help , My Capri wont Start

Hi,
Well done on getting the car started.
You know that's an effective anti-theft system when even the owner can't start the car!

Re: What do I need?

Hi,
You need a boss to fit the Ford splines which the steering wheel will bolt to. In my opinion, why bother when there are so many Ford wheels to choose from that will fit straight on?

Is he thinking "Will this fit in the dustbin, so I can get that cologne V6 under the bonnet of my 1970 and later Capri"? ;)

Hi,
The photo was a fitting tribute and respects have been paid. However, it's now time to move on. How about featuring a different forum member's car each month instead?
All the best,
Andrew.

Is this for real, or is it the motoring equivalent of sending the new apprentice to the builder's merchant for glass nails or tartan paint etc?

Re: Refitted the shroud

The working of the cars not affected its just an annoying noise. Hi, I think we've all spent hours trying to find annoying squeaks and rattles etc. :) In fact, years ago my Uncle tried, unsuccessfully, to locate an annoying noise on his Cortina mk4. He was at the end of his tether so called out a m...

A pillars and such. And if not why not? Hi, If you want to buy new, expressed steel panels make a range of panels...

Don't want noises sounding like my car is run on guinea pigs in a wheel thank you. Hi, They help reduce the fuel consumption though! ;) Is the squeaking noise coming from the alternator, water pump or belt? I think that the fan is only effective at drawing the heat from the radiator with the shroud...

Hi, I thought you could only get tax to start from next month if the car was continually taxed. That is, not changing status from SORN to taxed. Do you usually tax the car in advance of the start date? I think I'm right in saying that if the tax has been paid for but has not arrived by post there is...
