I think that Peugeot make cracking small cars. Had a couple, they've been great.

Bought it! i agree its brill , really smooth and proper nippy. interior feels cheap and not well put together but other than that its sound.

Re: High insurance on daily! why?

The government needs to grow a pair and ban whiplash claims altogether - genuine or not. Also claims management parasite companies should be banned too. Watch the premiums tumble then. Insurance companies are a bunch of c**ts too though, I've last week pranged my Skoda and now my premium will go up...

Re: Wheel swap?

I'm not sure. I've been thinking about it and I'm kinda waffling on the idea to be honest. I just got these new tyres and they cost a pretty penny so id need assurances that i'd get the same amount of life out of anything different. (plus i got these particular ones to help improve handling in the ...

Ive got freshly refurbished S 4-spokes with brand new uniroyal rain expert tyres on mine. I plan on eventually replacing them for something bigger as tyres in 13" are hard to find. What condition are the tyres on yours? ah nice, brill mate would you be interested in a swap? I cant remember off...

Re: My new (less rotten) capri!

If you are very lucky someone may have changed the carb and inlet manifold for a 32/36 DGAV already. It was a quick and easy performance uplift for the standard 1.6 back in the day that made quite a difference just on its own. Even better of course if it had a 2.0 camshaft added and has to be said ...

Re: running hot / orange water in radiator

Hi Naissan The joys of classic car ownership! The orange in the coolant is basically rust due to the coolant not having enough anti - freeze in it. Anto freeze does four things - freezing prevention, corrosion prevention, makes engine run slightly cooler by raising boiling point of the coolant and ...

Re: running hot / orange water in radiator

Your right it's rust . I would get a service asap just to be on the safe side as you never know when these things have been done also try and empty the tank of petrol and fill up as the petrol so you know it's all fresh . Mine had only done a few hundred miles in about 10 years and they don't like ...
