Re: wanted Capri 2.8 i

Hi Cliff, As Andrew said a lot of Cars will be a good distance away.... So you either take a chance by asking lots of questions and ask for more pictures if possible so you aren't buying completely blind and get it Delivered. I have done this a few times albeit from dealers and I have been happy, al...

Re: might have to store my capri away for a while

Hi Dan,
I hope the Fiesta is cheaper but as it is still an older Car with no safety devises etc, you may find it is still a lot to Insure.

Corsa's are one of the cheapest for young drivers my Lad has a 1.0, and you will always be able to sell it on as they are sought after...

Re: wanted Capri 2.8 i

Hi Cliff, The Blue Car has been there for nearly 12 months to my Knowledge and was at £10995 until recently. I enquired last Summer but as you say it's got too many 'Bits' added. The Black one has been there for a Couple of Months too but does look nice, although you can see some Rust Bubbles on the...

Re: wanted Capri 2.8 i

Hello Cliff,
Welcome aboard :D
Good luck with your search as Andrew said it's a realistic budget :applaud: and I know one of the Cars you described (Blue 1 owner...)?
As you said at that money you don't want to spend more putting it back to Standard.

Re: my strato silver 2.8i

Hi Andy, There are companies that can fit modern internals and a MP3 socket into a classic stereo case. Might be worth doing if you want originality? The ones I looked at weren't cheap though, they want around £300 for doing it. All the best, Andrew. Hi Andrew, WOW that's a bit steep  Would j...

Re: might have to store my capri away for a while

Hi Dan,
Bad news :( but we've all been there...

Lock the Capri away with a Disklok/Wheelclamp and disconnect the Battery, but start it up every couple of months
and move it in and out of Garage just to keep things moving... time will soon go :) and a little Fiesta would be good :D

Re: My Capri 2.8 Injection Updated 25/05/2015

Hi Neil,
Looking Great a lot cleaner than the last time I saw it

I have Silver over Red Stripe, http://www.dmb.uk.com/prod/213/capri-28-injection but the Silver is slightly thinner than the Red and follows the top outline of Injection unlike yours....
