I was thinking the same when I read Danny's comment. Do you think that L...

Will bear this all in mind when I eventually get time to do it! Is the car you were asking about actually in use? If the pads do need changing, I would put this job at the top of your priority list... Andrew. Yes but only once a week and the MOT man said the pads had a thousand miles left in them a...

Re: Copper grease - Yay or nay
Just remember guys that Copperslip is an anti-seize compound and not a lubricant. I always brush it on the edges of the pad backing plates where they contact the caliper or its mount to stop the pads rusting into the sliders. Thanks Paul, read somewhere that it was good for the piston as well... ??

Knew you chaps would know - other people are beating on about how they aren't needed with modern brakes, you'll damage the shims blah blah blah Load of bollocks I'll start slapping it on everything. Re: Copper grease - Yay or nay
You're not putting it on the friction material, are you? I've never really noticed a difference whether it's used or not, but some people swear that a smear on the contact areas of the back of the pad eliminates squealing. Andrew. I've coated the entire disc in a healthy quantity yes :D *For ...

I did go back in November/early December but totally forgot to take any pictures 🙃 Anyway, went back yesterday and she is really coming along now.
