Yes the advice given does seem silly and obvious :) But, you do have to remember that there are plenty of people who are less fortunate than ourselves, who might require such advice. Honestly. Common Sense for most, but for a majority they do need this information..... What about, "Get on Mobi...

Brilliant pics John
Must be nearly every model there that was ever made.....
That Mk4 Cortina 3.0S could be the same car that I saw locally last month.
Nice to see the Orion, which as you say is a rare sight nowadays.

Hi Nick,
I always make a note of the dates a few months in advance, and put deadlines down when I organise the XR shows.....
they creep up on you and can easily miss them
As you say you won't pay more than the exhibitors Have a good one and post some pics

Re: The new Barn Find addition to the old ford family
The Sierra was a damn fine car and I bet this one, when sorted out, will give you and your other half a lot of pleasure. I've owned quite a few, from a 1.6L up to Cosworths and they all were good cars to drive. Paul. They are quite a comfortable car for an older :ford: Ideal for the older driver :w...

Re: Dont use your Capri all year round, they are too delicate!
I'm one of those that hates taking my capri out in the rain. I took it to a show the other week and it rained on the way back. Funnily enough when i was driving in the pouring rain it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Maybe i should enjoy it more. Exactly like me  But when it's clean an...

Re: 8000miles from new Special
It always seemed a pity they discontinued the option of Carla trim on the 2.8i in early 1983. Im presuming this only happened because Ford wanted to visually separate the Injection from what had now become the entry level car, the LS which had Carla trim (albeit non Recaro) now that the base, L &am...

it's got a Renault 30 or Volvo 265 engine. Yes, I believe they are made up from parts of all kinds aren't they. Allegro door handles and suchlike. There is still apparently a large supply of available parts from the stocks they had left over from back in the day. When Wheeler Dealers did their DeLo...

About time too ignorant sods..... Mobile phones are such a pest. A mobile phone is fine as now you can't seem to get by without one, to call and text is all you really need, but they have far too many apps etc. Are people that worried what other people are doing on social media, that they have to s...
