Yup, my money is on an air leak! Exactly what mine was doing, but I'm running a 24v so not much useful advice I can give. If it helps it was a blown plenum gasket on mine, allowing unmetered air into the system.

Less K&N and more M&S, I've now done 250 miles with a sock jubilee clipped in place instead of an air filter.

1600 axle worth exactly the same as the 2.0 one.

Attached to my 24v it really does shift! Also runs out of gears pretty quickly though heh.
