Re: flasher relay
Did you check the earth itself? If you wiggled the earth wire and it worked I would've thought that the earth connection was crap and to fix that rather than replacing the whole relay?

Rev Counter not Working
Hi guys, mentioned last week about the rev counter not working since I changed the carb over fro a 34 IHC to a 32/36 and everyone said that there was a spare wire somewhere that goes straight to the coil, but as per my pictures below I can't find any spare/loose wires at all? Help please! Thanks htt...

Re: Weber 34 ICH to 32/36 Carb
If anyone is interested by the way, Novatech in Slough want £70+VAT and hour (£82 an hour) and a pinto apparently takes around 2hours so would be about £160 to set up, once I've actually got the thing working within reason!

Re: Weber 34 ICH to 32/36 Carb
That means something else must be wrong as to why my rev counter isn't going! Hi Danny, The rev counter is fed from the coil. Andrew. Cheers Andrew, I did find this thread earlier http://www.fordcapriforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37072 which I have checked and all my other wires seem to be attach...

Re: Weber 34 ICH to 32/36 Carb
That is correct - the wire was for the fuel cut off valve on the original VV carb and the 34ich. Just curl it up and tie it up somewhere out of the way. How's the car going with all the new bits? Oh I seeeee.... That means something else must be wrong as to why my rev counter isn't going! And so fa...

Weber 34 ICH to 32/36 Carb
Hi, Just got the car back with the new carb on it, but there is one wire (which I'm pretty certain is the rev counter, judging by the fact it no longer works and is the only wire currently not connected) that came off of the old carb (34 ICH) which had a spade clip attachment, but cannot find the sa...

Re: 3D Printing Parts
Though you can only print in plastic, would be pretty handy to do it with metal when I need a new front wing  You can 3D print in steel also. Sweet, I know what I'm buying myself for Christmas!! Genuinely though, I think it wouldn't be such a bad idea for a group of people to band togeth...

Re: 3D Printing Parts
You can print almost anything, which is pretty amazing! I know that a few years back people in the US were kicking up a fuss as someone figured out a way to 3D print all the parts needed to make a fully working gun  I also saw at a university on a site visit once that someone 3D printed a pla...

Re: Indicators gone fookin nuts
I had one off you once before but seem to remember you saying you'd got no stock left so I started worrying about future replacements - I know these don't last!! I'm scared to used my indicators now lest I should break it again! Not exactly an easy part to reproduce so either need to start find a r...

Re: Indicators gone fookin nuts
I've seen on ebay that there's people selling new aftermarket ones. I bought one as a backup but haven't tried it yet. I looks close-ish, but maybe a little *cheap* looking :( I've just had a quick look and guess that this link is what you mean? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-Indicator-and-Hor...

Re: Wanted leather seats
Front and Rear bumpers I'd probably say get new ones? CCI do reproduction bumpers and I think they are £70 each but are good quality replacements rather than trying to fettle an old one?

Re: Steering wheel advice
Looks like its done a decent job!
I had the exact same issue with my steering wheel but was struggling to find a decent way to repair it so bought another from a different model with less shite leather but will definitely have to go back and try this!

Nice one, good find/well remembered Andrew!
Seriously impressed with the amount of stuff he has managed to get done in a single garage! Can't wait to see the finished article

Re: Digital Insrument Cluster
I really don’t know as I like the old fashion gauges So do I, but I think it's great that somebody even came up with the idea in the first place. Then to take that idea and to invest time and money in getting it to work is to be commended. I think that a few owners would like this modern interpreta...

Fuse 1 is also for the indicators and rear stop lights and front washer jet so have you checked those earths as well?
Otherwise I'm starting to run out of ideas!
