Re: Scolton Manor 07/06/15
It's funny, we're all a tiny bit apprehensive leaving our pride & joy parked up, and someone parks a Ferrari Dino worth more than most people's houses on the grass for us to look at, top man! Hi Rob, A fair point! Although I wouldn't have thought that the owner strayed very far from it the whol...

That's a nice car. Although it looks like Caspian blue to me, not Titan blue.andyd wrote:Car and Classic Ad http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C623982

Me too. Very convenient to keep under the seat in the car and use it when popping into the shops, or whatever.sheff wrote:I use one of these http://www.autolok.co.uk/collections/ge ... k-original

Re: might have to store my capri away for a while
Hi, Neil has raised an excellent point there about insurance for your Capri while it's not being used. As an alternative to buying laid-up insurance, it might be worth your Mother staying insured on the Capri (obviously you'll have to reimburse her if she pays). That way, not only will it be insured...

That's a quality I like in a seller. There's nothing worse than trying to buy off somebody who hasn't got a clue what they're talking about and have no enthusiasm for the stuff they're selling.
Don't get me started on the staff at Curry's!
All the best,

Cheers for that Nick,
I do it a different way, but it's not much easier. Best stick to what you know!

Hi All, Just a quick word about classifieds in the CCI magazine. Depending on when the advert is sent to the club, it can take almost 2 months before it appears in print, due to print deadlines and the like. Obviously if it's a good car and it's advertised elsewhere, it may well have been sold even ...

Your Car still looks as good as ever but where is your 'Please Don't Touch' sign  Thanks Andy! The thing that worries me about a sign is that some people might touch it, even if they didn't have any intention to touch it if there wasn't a sign, if you know what I mean? The same way that if you...

I am beginning to run out of words to describe how wonderful your 2.8i looks. Nick, Steady on, mate! Seriously, thanks for the comments. I'm pleased that you enjoyed looking through the photos, it wasn't a bad day out. Not as good as the bigger shows, but enough cars there to keep me interested. Th...

Scolton Manor 07/06/15
Hi All, A Beautiful sunny day, if a little hot, spent at Scolton Manor near Haverfordwest. There weren't all that many cars there, but enough to make the day worthwhile. Here are some photos of the day, I hope that you enjoy them. This chap had the only other 2.8 Injection there (also on an A plate)...

Agreed Andrew, I love all this sharing of knowledge/experience. I'm looking forward to knowing how you get on when you adjust yours. Hi Neil, I've deferred the valve clearance adjustment until next weekend. I'm going to paint the rocker covers as well, and thought I'd kill two birds with one stone....
