All the visual detterents like disklok, wheel clamp etc will do is slow down anyone that wants the car, sadly if desperate enough they will have it :( That is also how I see it. I know, there was one fitted to a Chevette I had in the early 90s. The sunroof must have been the deluxe model as it came with an integrated shower that I could take advantage of every single time it rained!

it`s quite safe to power it from an un-fused/ battery terminal therein, you don`t need it to be going through 2 fuses.
