Re: Car feels weird lol

Personally, if it is the rear springs which are the issue, I would change them like for like, which with your car, is most likely multi-leafs. yeah i may do but is the only reason for that originality? That's part of it, but it's possible that the ride height might alter slightly, someone else will...

Re: Car feels weird lol

Sounds like i could have a big issue on my hands then!. waiting till pay day and ill get it booked in. would attempt it myself but have no way of securely jacking the car up. If it is an issue with leaf springs, would you suggest i get single ones fitted to the rear instead when i replace them? *jus...

Re: Car feels weird lol

Thanks for the replies, i originally posted that the car seems to be leaning to the right when sat on flat ground..so probably connected by the sounds of it. Also when i went to have a look yesterday the rear end seems to have dropped more on the right hand side. seems a lot more noticeable than it ...

Car feels weird lol

had a weird experience driving it the other day. felt as though the rear end wanted to overtake the front but not in a drifting sort of way. only way i could describe it is like when you had a cheap matchbox toy car, when u push the wheels on one side they go into the arch slightly and pop out the a...

Re: Easy upgrades for my 1600?

When you get the cam fitted and still want a bit more but still want carbs then have a look at bike carbs. DIY manifold kits around for £70. Much smoother driving than any type of Webers, better fuel economy and massive unrestricted airflow when you want it. An old 1600 that doesn't rattle & kn...

I favour classic cars which are original and standard, but what you're doing there looks to be great fun! I might turn mine into KARR then we can have a fight. yeah i thought a few purists might hate me for it but its only cable tied on and can be removed. lol yeah makes a lot of people smile. Prob...

Re: Easy upgrades for my 1600?

You'll see an adaptor plate between the carb and the manifold. It's actually a nice little carb, but a 32/36...
