The most egregious thing to me about modern vehicles is that they are so difficult to fix by the owner. Well, that and the arsenals of sensors and cameras helping accustom us to this Orwellian nightmare of indiscriminate surveillance we're walking into.

Glyn swapped an engine in a Capri in a field at one of the first meets I went to, CoCC. Think he had it done in an afternoon, even had a few beers during the task

I would love a Mk1, but well and truly missed the boat regarding skyrocketing prices.

Has this had a sunroof covered over? It's rusting in a really weird way on the roof, I've never seen one go like that before.

My pinto mysteriously started doing this for a few months. Yes it's an unnerving experience isn't it. In mine it was a dodgy earth in the rear light cluster.

I seem to remember it being an FX4 passenger mirror which was a mirror image ( :xd: ) of the larger, drivers side (int. adjust) one. So the front aspect would then be symmetrical rather than the un-matched pair fitted? Problem is that the FX4 is now pretty obsolete itself I`d have thought, so parts...

As per the above, what options are there other than standard Capri ones? Mine has long since rotted off at the base. And the mirror has also come off.
