Re: Windscreen Cracked
Hi Steve,
Had mine replaced late last year by auto windscreen through insurance. They did bring the wrong one first as it had a patch on it for the mirror to stick on. One week later got the correct one brown tint for a laser only cost £75xs hope that this helps.
Cheers Allan

Re: Polybushes
I replaced the rear ones last year with orange super flex ones and noticed a massive difference. So will probably change front ones as well. Don't know if they are worn as car has only done 53k but surely they must be starting to perish after all these years. Are they difficult to do.
Cheers Allan.

Check mine and the front panel does have the dimples in. Does anyone know where I could get a image of the brackets from so that I can fabricate a pair.

Re: Spotlamp wirering.
Thanks for the replies, the wirering that I refer to is the two plugs behind the front panel they the same connection as those that you come with the genuine ford lamps.will need to check if there is a live feed to them.

Steering wheel colour
Hi all,
Does anybody know what colour die is needed for a laser steering wheel and where I could get it as mine is looking a bit grubby and thought with the car being off the road it would be a good time to do those little jobs.
Cheers Allan.

Re: Rear Creaking & big knocking over bumps
Have you checked the rear leaf spring shackle bushes for wear, if the ride height is ok it be those or they could be loose.good luck.

Electric aerial problem.
Electric aerial won't go up or down, I can hear the motor running both ways but nothing happens. Is there any way to repair it as it is original.

Re: Cutting out when hot
Will need to buy another condenser as the other one was shot as it would not start at all. Can't understand how it cuts out but starts straight back up at turn of the key.

Glass etching.
Hi all,
I am having my front screen replaced due to it being cracked. Just wondering does anybody know where I could get the reg scribed again as all the rest of the glass is original. Spoke to the supplier who no longer do this.
Thanks
