I wonder if they banger them? It’s certainly an odd (but good!) find, it would be interesting to know the story.

Fiona has a niece born in 2001.... I mean get your head around that, BORN AFTER THE YEAR 2000! I didn’t realise such people existed. Add that she can legally come to the pub with us and, well, I just feel ancient! Ah, she must be one of them there 'my-linoleums', or something like that? Or is...

Re: God help us?
Regarding the reliability (or lack of) of the test and therefore infection rate data, this is the Health Secretary’s little ‘slip up’: https://mobile.twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1306919831950766086?s=20 The methodology for calculating false positives does indeed appear correct, it’s what SAGE use an...

Re: God help us?
* Although a population density of only 57 people per square km in Yemen compared to the UK's 279 probably explains Yemen's lesser rate of transmission and lower amount of daily cases. Their testing capabilities may also be inferior to ours, hence deceptive statistics. As per my previous post Tom, ...

Re: God help us?
We need somebody to help us! We’re facing economic armageddon and untold misery all in the name of keeping us safe from a virus which really doesn’t appear all that dangerous, to the majority of people anyway. Death figures basically made up, and an infection rate based on a test which is so unrelia...

To quote the PM: “All this is to say that: Christmas we want to protect, and we want everyone to have a fantastic Christmas. But the only way to make sure the country is able to enjoy Christmas is to be tough now. So if we can grip it now, stop the surge, arrest the spike, stop the second hump of th...

My mate, who is normally I good driver, bought an A3 and now doesnt indicate at all :twak: I keep having a go at him and now he rebels and says "Audi privilege!" to wind me up. Oh the faces of annoyed people at the roundabout haunts me still. Tell him a measly A3 doesn’t qualify for such ...

Re: Minimeet
Sounds like a fun engine. Do they scream? Nah it’s a typical direct injection turbo, mountains of mid-range torque and the power tails off at 6000rpm so there’s no point going to the red line (although it has funky shift lights if you do!). It sounds ok, plenty of pops and bangs from the exhaust, b...

Great pics, looks like you guys had a fun day! Pedantry time.... If the Mustang isn’t a V8 is it not a 4cyl 2.3 turbo (basically detuned Focus RS engine)? The yanks got a n/a 3.7 V6 as their entry level engine but it was never available here, and seems a bit pointless tbh. I can recommend the new M...

There was a peeping Tom going around my mother in laws road / area for a few weeks the police even stated controlling the area but he did knock on her door one night and asked if she could draw her curtains    That's my favourite one of your smouldering mother-in-law jokes yet  ...

Re: Mk1 in Dover yesterday
I remember the day I collected the RS, on the way home I called into to a Shell to fill it up with V-Power and some bloke started filming me! He just stood there in the middle of the forecourt for about 20 seconds pointing his phone at me (or more likely the car I hope!) and then proceeded to wait f...

Re: Some cars..
I think the most powerful standard version was the 6.0 V12 with 304bhp, which isn’t particularly impressive by today’s standards.... I imagine a bit of forced induction etc. could double that figure though!
