Re: COMING SOON....
I am that old fart :D Planet rock is the station of choice in our broom cupboard of an office, we have a 19 year old apprentice who is having his horizons broadened :D Its surprising how many songs he knows, but mostly because they have been sampled or covered by younger generation artists, Eminem p...

Re: COMING SOON....
They were part of growing up (relative term :D ) for many of us, my mate & I have been going to see bands for over 30 years, hadn't seen them for years but managed to get tickets for their "last ever" show at the NEC, brilliant, simply brilliant. Thought I would feel sad seeing the &qu...

Re: Textured paint finish effect of lower body panels
OK, Shutz is a bitumen type underseal & the work of the devil DO NOT USE IT :D This is the stuff to use https://www.u-pol.com/uk/en-uk/product/upol/coatings-uk/specialist-coatings/gravitex-plus-hs-stone-chip-protector#.XO5OF3dFzIU We used this on the lower panels & all of the underneath of t...

Re: Textured paint finish effect of lower body panels
Don't know if Shutz its a generic term but when we did Biscuit, we used this kind of thing, applied using an air spray gun. Used on the lower panels & the whole of the underneath from memory https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tetraschutz-Application-Underseal-Underbody-Protection/dp/B01H9IZESI I can find ...

Re: Tip Run
Not quite the tip run but the higher domestic authority wanted to call into homebase yesterday evening, good excuse to get Biscuit out to stretch her legs, so as the HDA was in the shop, I was sat outside & a chap comes over to say hello, left his wife stranded by their car surrounded by their n...

Re: CCI Nationals 2019
Brilliant photo's :D many thanks for posting them, I missed talking to a few folks I had hoped to meet, always seemed to be side tracked, to be honest I didn't really look at many of the cars, daft when you think I was there for 6 hours or so, too busy gas bagging & socialising :D I did find mys...

Re: Mk 3 Capri Owners in/near Bristol wanted
There great , as Andrew says it’s great having professional pictures done . Completely agree, way better than anything I could do, I had a load off the photographer in 2017 when Biscuit made its first published debut in a classic car mag alongside a Scimitar GTE, the pics the chap took of the insid...

Re: Mk 3 Capri Owners in/near Bristol wanted
Well done Gary, your car looks great :applaud: I did see the pics on face ache earlier :) Are you near Bristol? Worcester mate, Biscuit looked pretty good I must admit considering I drove 60 miles down there & didn't even flick a duster over it before the shoot, then 60 back home for breakfast....

Re: Mk 3 Capri Owners in/near Bristol wanted
After contacting Nick we arranged to meet up well before dawn on Good Friday, I took a trip down to the docks in Bristol so Biscuit could take part in her first paying gig, but it was all about having professional photo's of the car to add to her history file for me. A photo shoot for the New Bristo...

Re: Super unleaded or just unleaded
In my 3.0 Essex I tend to alternate between regular 95 unleaded & Tesco's 98 Ron super. About every other fill up of regular 95 Ron I add a splash of valvemaster plus.
So far it seems to work well. That's with the original non unleaded heads too

Re: Goblin Works Coyote Capri
I'm afraid I still don't like it. The fact that they took a mint 2.8i and did that to it - yuk. It's like taking the Mona Lisa and painting a moustache and a cock on it. :( :turd: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but personally, I have to agree with every bit of your critique Paul :xd: :xd: :xd:
