Re: Fitting kenlowe electric fan in 2.8i

My pinto mysteriously started doing this for a few months. Yes it's an unnerving experience isn't it. In mine it was a dodgy earth in the rear light cluster.

Re: Passenger door mirror

I seem to remember it being an FX4 passenger mirror which was a mirror image ( :xd: ) of the larger, drivers side (int. adjust) one. So the front aspect would then be symmetrical rather than the un-matched pair fitted? Problem is that the FX4 is now pretty obsolete itself I`d have thought, so parts...

Passenger door mirror

..heil gents 🙋

As per the above, what options are there other than standard Capri ones? Mine has long since rotted off at the base. And the mirror has also come off.

They do 'Educational Tours' too, from £16 per pupil, but I think we're a bit old for that
We could lie about our age ? :xd:
Dress up in ill-fitting blazers and trousers that are too short

Hmmmm it looks like they do, but it's run by a contractor called Eventbrite. And it's £30.

Re: Feeling safe at night

In some parts of the world its dangerous to leave your home, a good friend went to Brazil for work last year. in the evening he got dressed up and was about to leave the hotel and was stopped by the doorman, apparently if he went out of the hotel on foot he would be abducted and his family would be...

Re: Capri Assembly Line

the first Capri's off the line Tut tut! Andrew. Oh I was well aware :D But there is a rule whereby a word may not appear correct or become changed without extra punctuation. So, it could become Capriss, rhymes with kiss. See? That's why, you will note, I usually add the apostrophe :) See me a...

Some of the sillier PIFs we have today..

Man's dog gets him killed

Man's bike, nagging wife and low intelligence gets him killed

Lad's walkman, blindness and changing the rules of how level crossings work to fit the stupid narrative gets him killed

Re: Public Information Films

On the subject of train safety, I'm fascinated by these street running trains that run in some of America's small towns. I would imagine that the H&S police in the UK would have a fit with massive freight trains mixing with traffic and pedestrians on the public highway! BRZkMoi2at8 Andrew...

Re: Feeling safe at night

To feel safe as I live on my own I have a cricket bat under my bed. The bastards would be knocked out of the ground if I could get up quick enough. Well this is the insane thing about the law today: if you have that cricket bat for self-defence, you are on the wrong side of the law. If you happen t...

Re: Feeling safe at night

We empower people in the wrong ways too. A feeling of entitlement won't save you from a criminal that does not care about society or the rules. But you're not longer allowed to carry a weapon for self defence, like the old "life preserver' leather bound, weighted cudgels from the Victorian era....
