easy answer really.......... more power !

think you will find its a combination of the angle of the nozzle and the speed at which fuel comes out of it....... you have to remember pumps have a device to shut off when a tank is full, with the speed the fuel comes out these days its common to happen..... like mentioned above.... pull the nozzl...

to be honest the cologne is one heavy fat lump.......got one in the workshop and it feels heavier than the daimler v8..... and thats 400 lbs !

Better to what the real condition is BEFORE stripping ...... saves the dissapointment....... and with that shell i would be pretty happy!

I just love slot mags....... wider the better! As for cleaning....... just like polishing any other ally really... i would start with wet and dry ... coarse enough to remove any scratches etc.... treat it like doing car bodywork...... using finer and finer wet n dry (use it wet with a dot of washing...

Well, once again I spent most of the evening in the garage...... about the only good side to being in the middle of splitting with wife is i get plenty of time to be in the garage ! Tonight I decided to remove a valve guide.... they dont have seals as standard so a lttle modification is in order.......

I have a supplier of forged pistons upto 94mm and rods suitable for a stroked standard crank , the rods are ex formula one... some are titanium ...dead light ! I havent spoken to him for a while but i could enquire..... maybe sort you a 2.3 or 2.4 litre bottom end? Fresh built.

Depends how much you want to spend really....Ive seen the 2 litre bored to 94mm..... and stroked giving around 2.4 litre.....

But at a price !

Ive drag raced a 3 litre essex and i always used Payen gaskets, never had a problem.. Available from most good motor factors.

it depends on what wheels...... the 2.8 alloys are 7x13..... fitted with 205/60/13 ....

My old blue Capri was fitted with 7x13 front and 8x13 rear....
