If you crack the fuel pipe union on the front end of the pump you should get a spray of fuel when you crank the engine, if not then you have wired the pump up the wrong way round.
I assume that you can hear the pump working?

Yes, I have but it's not that straightforward. The lip that the screen rubber sits in is slightly wider than the early ones so you will have to trim off 5mm all round the lip in order to fit the early rubber.

The early MK3 had the proper rear screen seal, the later ones went to bonded.

There isn't a ready made repair section. What we do is take a section from a salvaged wing.

I have loads of secondhand ones but they tend to break around the fixing points. They can be reused. I have brand new clear indicators already in stock and I have some pairs of new amber ones due in any day now. Which is your preference?
