Hi Andy,
On a serious note, it's a rare situation when a car is sold back to the suppying dealer. This is a good opportunity to see how much they think that the market has risen and the resultant increase iin value of this car over the last year or so.
It will be interesting to find out.
Andrew.

Hi Andy,
The trouble with classic shows is that too many cars have for sale signs on them.
How is your willpower?

Re: Set of 5 Ghia Alloy Wheels for sale
Hi, I got mine refurbed at Prestige in Milton Keynes. They spend days repairing and preparing the wheels, they don't just powdercoat them. When they were returned, you'd swear that they were brand new straight from the factory. It cost £55 per wheel including VAT and they send a courier round to pic...

It's mid June now, Nick. Where have you been hiding all year?
Have a good show, and enjoy the convoy.
Hopefully John won't be on one of his 100mph blasts!

Hi,
According to the BBC the weather in Farnborough should be cloudy but dry tomorrow.
Have a good one, gents.
Like Andy, I eagerly await some photos if possible!

Re: capri spotted in photobox.co.uk advert
Hi,
Is the Capri featured the Mk2 Ghia that Dr Broooklands is selling? It has the same unusually-coloured vinyl roof.
Seems likely as the advert was filmed in Cardiff. apparently, and Dr B is based near Bridgend.

Hi Chris, As Nick said, welcome to the forum. Once I get some stuff cleared out I'll be able to take some pictures to upload. Sounds great, can't wait to see it. Very nice condition wheels, by the way, you shouldn't have any trouble selling them. Even if somebody was having their own wheels refurbis...

Hi Andy,
You might be able to go cold turkey for a while, but how long will it be before you have to get your next Capri fix?

Hi Mike,
Thank you for taking the time to post comprehensive explanations, it's really useful having your legal-eagle knowledge on this forum.
It can't be easy explaining complicated legal procedures to the man in the street, as it were.
All the best,
Andrew.

Re: Classic car insurance
I bet that if you did have to have your car somewhere else temporarily and something happened then you would lie about the circumstances, adjust the truth, the time, where you were or whatever. Hi, You'd lose that bet, as there is no way I would lie on an insurance claim form. It's not worth the ri...

Re: Classic car insurance
Hi All, Surely there must be a clear definition of 'home' or 'away' in the context of where the car is located? Either way, it doesn't bother me that much, as I've never left the car elsewhere overnight in the vicinity of home. There may be a time in the future, but as it may only be on an infrequen...

Re: Another bargin on ebay
Thinking of it, I can't think of a single genuine legitimate reason why anybody would even want to buy a V5 without a car.
Does anybody actually collect this stuff?
