Re: Professionals Creator - Brian Clemens

Hi There, This was a Great shame indeed. He also did The Avengers & The New Avengers. I remember watching an old episode of The New Avengers a couple of Years ago and there was Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw playing the 'Baddies'. I remember it well, as I was trying to work out if they where alre...

Re: Auto trader / YouTube.

HI Andrew,

Love it, the Wheels really do set it off. I think you'd need some Bottle to drive round in it though, unless of course it had a nice BIG V8 under the Hood... And a BLISTERING 1/4 Mile time.... :applaud:

Re: mixture on 2 litre laser.

Hi there, Just been reading through this and just thought it might be worth mentioning one more thing. All advice is spot on, but back in the distant past we used to set our idle mixture with a Color Tune Kit. Basically a transparent spark plug. Get your engine warmed up, (making sure the choke is o...

Re: Special or 280

Hi Les, As has already been said, this is a Very Personal thing. I was desperate a few years ago for a sorted 280i. I looked at a few, but then came across a 2.8i Special, my knees went weak and I just went Wow. Needless to say I bought this one and have never looked back... You need to go and see t...

Re: Ford Enthusiasts @ The Ace 4/01/15. A COLD Night...

Hi again, Cheers Andrew, Nick, for your very kind comments on my Capri. You’re making me feel really guilty for continuing to use it so much. Coming back from Mansfield on Boxing Day night in a Snow Blizzard on the M1, eventually got to Leicester Forest and pulled in as I swore my Headlights had fai...

That being said, there was a great small splattering of old classic car's there too, here's a few of them if you're interested??? Let's start with the Cortina'...

Hi Mike, Another Gem here, I haven't watched them all yet, but am working through them, I was on the look out for Mike & Edd in the opening of The Driving Test, driving the Darracq for their 100th car. I also noted the distinct lack of Road Markings back then, makes it much easier to overtake if...

Hiya all, Just back in from a Christmas drink or 7. Watching some Russian car crashes and came across this. I can't get a link to work for a couple of reasons, 1, I've been drinking. 2, I'm using a new Pad thing. But if you go to YouTube and type in. "Autotrader helps the Dukes of hazard find a...

Hi Nick, I know what you mean about the Bolts mate. When I used to work at a Warehouse in Leeds, back when I lived in Huddersfield growing up, (Happy Days.) me and a good few mates had Capri’s (A couple of others had Manta’s of course to keep the Banter up!!!) we used to do Engine swaps on Week Ends...
