Dont Look if you have just Eaten!!!

Isnt this the most hideous thing you have ever seen??? Why make a nice curvy 80's classic into a square hillbilly roofless monstrosity. Why did they look at the Capris bonnet and grill and go mmmmm not square enough? You know what will happen when that rolls over. Squish!! No doubt someone will like...

Re: (re) fixing door mouldings is a doddle...

Did exactly what you said and it worked first time, Though the end screw at the hindge isnt biting in. Think it may be into a clip in the door which must have moved or something.

Why are the last few simple jobs the hardest?

Thanks alot alan, saved the day!

Re: (re) fixing door mouldings is a doddle...

Thanks mate,

I think i know what you mean, the clips can be squeezed so you can take them out.

Had thought of doing it that way but i assumed that it be easier to pop them back in on the trim. Of Course i assumed wrong.

Will let you know how it goes

I had to start driving it sooner than i planned as my other car broke down.

I'm really desperate to get it back on as its the only bit, not finished on the outside.

Any help is appreciated, hate the car being smarter than me :(
