Re: Polyurethane or Rubber

I only use Superflex on my customer builds. They are designed for road use so are not hard like the cheaper polybushes. I have been a Superflex stockist for the Capri range for many years, I won't use or sell any others.

Kent Industries, I've been using it for years. Unfortunately they only do black and three shades of grey. I tend to go for Mid grey. I have it in stock.

Re: New Car Programme on TV Soon

Too much yap and not enough time concentrating on actually fixing the problems in my opinion. Also, sort one car out before another one comes in, all the flitting around between cars gets on my nerves.

Re: Fuel Sender Seal size

It's different for you Martin, as this is our hobby, not a business. Time is money for you, but it is pleasure and satisfaction for us. Exactly and as such I am always very conscious of how time, and indeed money is spent, I don't think any of my customers would appreciate me taking time to try to ...

Re: Fuel Sender Seal size

I suppose it's a question of how do you value time, personally I'd spend less than a pint of beer on the correct seal and put my time into something more useful.

Re: Bulk order Rear brake shoes (8inch drums)

I got them for a fair price so I'm selling them for a fair price, it's not rocket science, it's the difference between profit and profiteering.

Re: What is killing everyone?

the non-covid death rate has been consistently higher than the 5 year average for about 6 months and is affecting all age groups. Or maybe it is still covid, but either people can't be arsed to write it on the death certificate, or have been instructed not to? They used to say opinions are like ars...

Re: 3.0 Exhausts. Which ones?

Agreed, the Sportex manifolds are a pain in the arse, not only are they badly formed, the drivers side one actually catches on the steering column UJ. I've had this issue on two different 3 litres that have had these manifolds fitted. I recently fitted a Janspeed system onto a set of standard manifo...

Re: Capri Club Magazine Late?

Received my CCI mag this morning. To be fair to CCI, they're not responsible for the carnage currently being wreaked on the country. I send out every parcel by a tracked service but I am more and more switching to couriers just to be able to carry on providing a mail order service.
