the easiest thing is to replace it with a known good one, I would also check for any air leaks while your at it check to see if any jubilee clips are loose or cracks in any pipes, let us know how you get on.

The first thing I would check is the auxiliary air device, with the engine hot pinch tight with your hand the hose running to it from the throttle body if the engine idle drops you know the auxiliary air device is the cause of the problem, there's a hole in the auxiliary air device when cold as the ...

this is a very small thing but could be a big one if you have a puncture
check to see if it has locking wheel nuts, if it has make sure you get the key,
oh and check if the spare wheel is good to go,
Ive done lots of these journeys and find them a good adventure,

Ford said they kept the best to last...the 280 was born, now if you can find one with a turbo on it you'll have a very desirable capri, I guess the 280 and the 30s would be the ones to go for, in that order Zackspeeds and Broadspeeds are very rare, not forgetting the RS3100 now that's a great motor....

Hi, the marks are not that noticeable they are all very fine, I'm just being very picky, it would not be advisable to use a courier it could break very easily and we all know how rough couriers can be, where abouts are you ?

windscreen for sale
I have spare bronze tint windscreen for sale it's 522mm centre height -would suit a capri 07/81 onwards, it has 6 very faint marks around 2 inches long on the inside drivers side and some very small blemishes inbetween the glass no chips in the glass, passenger side of the glass I can't see anything...

The reason I want to replace mine is that my old screen has lots of little stone chips.
I have a good bronze tinted one to slot back in there.
