i think its the right seal i thought if you had the wrong one it wouldnt fit full stop, fitted corectly round the screen before fitting so assumed it was right

i think its right, still got this little gap but i think its either the cars twisted a bit or the seals dried out a bit where its a billion years old, i guess once its got doors on i'll hose it down and check if it leaks

Which groove in the seal? just fitted it with the inner groove on the aperture and it doesnt look quite right, seem to have a slight gap around the ns top corner and the bottom corners dont seem quite right to me...

So what are the chances ford forget to make it an engine off feature, i see kids opening tailgates in traffic and watching the contents fall out as the driver buggers off! Mercs have a button on the doorcard to open and close tailgates, well handy for trapping people when they;re half in the boot....
