ESRT 32PS radio cassette player info.

Apologies if this is something most of you already know about but I thought I'd share a bit of info on the ESRT 32PS. I'd noticed that my cassette tapes were playing slowly so set about doing a bit of research. The drive belt on my unit was replaced not long ago and it didn't appear to be slipping. ...

Re: Blue plastic lenses in dashboard pod removal

:agree: re tinted bulbs, if needed in the future. That's interesting, it's either a typo or it's incorrectly assumed (by many of us) that they are 3w! I'm the same as you then, still have the blue covers (although I'm unsure of the condition of them but think they're ok) and standard bulbs. There wi...

Re: Blue plastic lenses in dashboard pod removal

This subject seems to have been discussed at great length before but I'm still unsure about the whole led vs standard wedge bulbs. Is anyone using 12v 3w wedge base standard bulbs instead if the original 2w? If so, do they improve the brightness much? If the 3w could pose a risk in terms of excess ...

Re: Expansion Bottle Clean

 Looks great. I did the same thing a few weeks back. Just a quick expansion bottle clean, using just washing up liquid, amazing what that stuff takes off. Took a couple of hours, but that includes taking pics and deliberating which flamin tea towel I dare to post up on here! Nice and clean for...

Re: Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars Series 2

Enjoyed seeing a Capri get some positive air time and the end result looked great. Pathetic that Drew threw that headrest though :swear: :agree: though, should be one car per episode and then see more work being carried out. IMO, having a few mins devoted to researching the cars history/owners might...

Re: I'm back......

Took the covers off yesterday and gave the car a little air and a detail spray. Checked tyre pressures and one had dropped 15psi in 3 months, so took it off and up to local tyre fitters to sort. Apparently the valve had some crud around it from the refurb, so they cleaned replaced and balanced and ...

Re: Old car dealer stickers

Yes, be careful with the black and silver plates. Someone above said that there was a year that they were outlawed from being placed on later registered vehicles - M reg / 1973 I think - and it's not a rolling date, like other classic motoring rules, therefore, they are an easy pull on even a Mk3 C...

Very pleased with both.

Nice one Nige :D

If I hadn't already bought new plates, I would have got some dealer stamped from this company....

Re: Old car dealer stickers

Thanks for your comments and info; the relief you felt must have been off the scale. No doubt there are many motorists who wished they'd had the same precence of mind! I have retained the plates that accompanied the car but simply wish to recreate (where the originals aren't still in existence), as ...

Re: Old car dealer stickers

Update. Although the first sticker DMB Graphics did for me was superb, I later found out that I'd submitted a design which was about 5 yrs out. However, a chance online chat with a fellow laser owner yielded some positive news. His car was supplied new by the same dealer, only a few months apa...
