Re: Advance Notice - 280 Brooklands.
Just to let everyone know. I collected the Brooklands today and I think it deserves a chance of being saved so I have put it up on Evilbay on a 7 day auction.
If it doesn't get what I think it is worth then I will have no option but to break it.Thanks, Martin.

Re: Advance Notice - 280 Brooklands.
I used to post as Chavcapri but not for a long time now.
I have the shim washers but not the bolts. You can use the standard bolts but make sure you use threadlock and locktabs as they are a few millimetres shorter than the 2.8i caliper bolts.

Re: strange occurence
It isn't bloody normal to have a crappy rubber joint in the main fuel feed pipe on a 2.8i - unless you want to burn it out that is. At some time the original joint has been removed and this bodge put in its place. Proper high pressure joiners are available for only a few quid. Get it changed ASAP, y...

I think you'd better check who you sent the message to before you kick off on one because you certainly didn't send me any message about those parts.

O.K. If I go down that route (more than likely) I'll let you know reference the tank.

I would have to look but I would suspect that brown is the earth. The connectors are usually different sizes so you shouldn't get them the wrong way round.

Re: is anyone in the CCI?
There's no need to apologise, all the traders need the support of the buying public. It's getting ever more difficult to keep supplying parts etc as items, cars for breaking are getting ever more scarce and expensive to buy. The environmental charges levelled at legitimate companies increase year on...

Re: HELLO THERE
I have the rear seat belts and the fixings for them.I also have odd bits of interior in that colour. Easiest way to sort your dash is to get a decent one in any colour and have it coloured to match your interior. If the carpets are just dirty and stained then a good pressure washer will shift a lot ...
